Constructed Identity

I've been working on this for an exhibition with the theme of racism. The idea in this piece is the eyes are making a judgment on one characteristic or a person, which thus causes others to be created, and constructs a view of the person. This person is then seen as a threat, and imprisoned in this perception that has "created" them, and all together forms a wall.

The top portion is done with pencil, the rest with oil pastels, and the small figure in the box with ink.
