Picking for the "Hyacinth Girl"

This is a drawing of a hand picking hyacinth flowers. The title is in reference to T. S. Elliot's poem, "The Waste Land" from which it draws some very loose inspiration. The outlines are drawn in with Indian Ink and then it was colored in with colored pencils.

Johnny Cash

I did it, an ink on paper picture of Johnny Cash, with strong shadows and very dark.
Cliche?
Tacky?
Yes, yes, of course.
Still awesome? I hope so.

The Busker

An image of a man busking on the side of the road. Ink on paper.

Hookah Heart

This is a somewhat disturbing image, of a man smoking a heart as though it were a hookah. It has symbolic references for addiction, in its grotesqueness; as well as using people for personal gain and enjoyment as though a drug.

Under the Tree

This is picture is an image of a man sail on a boat through the grass under the shade of a tree while a woman reads a book at the trunk. The landscape is done with oil pastels and the sky done with colored pencils.
