Still Life (IB Art work from Highschool)

This is an art piece from my International Baccalaureate program art exhibition. The theme of my pieces were mostly based on Christian theology and symbolism, though some have their own separate meaning, and are of course open to interpretation.

This is an ink on paper still life drawing. The objects are personal objects that in some way reflect some aspect of myself.

Jesus on Water Print (IB Art work from Highschool)

This is an art piece from my International Baccalaureate program art exhibition. The theme of my pieces were mostly based on Christian theology and symbolism, though some have their own separate meaning, and are of course open to interpretation.

These are part of a series of prints I made of an image of Jesus walking on water.

Charcoal Self Portraits (IB Art work from Highschool)

This is an art piece from my International Baccalaureate program art exhibition. The theme of my pieces were mostly based on Christian theology and symbolism, though some have their own separate meaning, and are of course open to interpretation.

This is a series of self portraits done with charcoal

Along with these self portraits, I combined 9 sheets of paper to create a very large self portrait from the multiple sheets. Here is picture of it, along with one with me on the right side, and my brother and his wife standing in front of it for size comparison.

Another self portrait I did was this one in color, using oil pastels on blue construction paper.

Man, Lion and Tree (IB Art work from Highschool)

This is an art piece from my International Baccalaureate program art exhibition. The theme of my pieces were mostly based on Christian theology and symbolism, though some have their own separate meaning, and are of course open to interpretation.

This is a sculpture made from clay. It is a man hugging a lion under a tree.

Hands (IB Art work from Highschool)

This is an art piece from my International Baccalaureate program art exhibition. The theme of my pieces were mostly based on Christian theology and symbolism, though some have their own separate meaning, and are of course open to interpretation.

This is a series of three statues of hands. Each depicts a person from earth reaching towards a hand of Christ. The hands were made from plaster of paris, by placing it onto real people's hands for a mold, and then painted with acrylic paint.

Golgotha (IB Art work in Highschool)

This is an art piece from my International Baccalaureate program art exhibition. The theme of my pieces were mostly based on Christian theology and symbolism, though some have their own separate meaning, and are of course open to interpretation.

This is an oil on canvas painting. It's the hill Golgotha on which Christ was crucified, with the skull in the hill intensified.

Waterfall (IB Art work from Highschool)

This is an art piece from my International Baccalaureate program art exhibition. The theme of my pieces were mostly based on Christian theology and symbolism, though some have their own separate meaning, and are of course open to interpretation.

This is an oil on canvas painting. Our study for this work was on surrealism. It's simply what it looks like, the presence of life within nature, portrayed in a waterfall.

Flower Study (IB Art work from Highschool)

This is an art piece from my International Baccalaureate program art exhibition. The theme of my pieces were mostly based on Christian theology and symbolism, though some have their own separate meaning, and are of course open to interpretation.

This work is a flower study, which is placed in a frame of the ICHTHUS symbol, and each flower represents the three stages of birth, death and resurrection of Christ. The first is done with water colour directly onto the wooden back, with acrylic used for the clouds. The center is water colour on paper, then glued on, the red blood painted with acrylic and the nail drawn in with pencil. The third is acrylic paint also done directly on the wood.

Revelation Beasts (IB Art Work from Highschool)

This is an art piece from my International Baccalaureate program art exhibition. The theme of my pieces were mostly based on Christian theology and symbolism, though some have their own separate meaning, and are of course open to interpretation.

This work is inspired by three beasts as described in the book of Revelation, in attempt to create their appearance as described in this book. They are made of clay.
